Group Mentor
Work as a team with 5-7 other adults in mentoring a group of up to 25 youth, to help set and reach goals, build self-esteem and develop social and interpersonal skills.

Commitment:

  • Minimum one year commitment (preferably longer)
  • Spend 4-6 hours each month with the students in:
    • structured student/mentor activities after school on a monthly basis for sixth grade youth and a bi-monthly basis for seventh through twelfth grade youth
    • phone contact with up to 4 students between the monthly meetings
  • Attend a minimum of 75% of the quarterly mentor training sessions
  • Complete required documentation
  • Comply with all agency policies and procedures

Individual Mentor
Work one-on-one with students to help set and reach goals, build self-esteem and develop social and interpersonal skills.

Commitment:

  • Minimum one year commitment (preferably longer)
  • Spend 4-6 hours each month with the student in:
    • monthly agency structured student/mentor activities
    • weekly phone contact with the student
    • at least 2 hours in face-to-face individual activities
  • Attend a minimum of 75% of the quarterly mentor training sessions
  • Complete required documentation
  • Comply with all agency policies and procedures

Tutor
Work with individual or groups of students during the school year to provide supervised study time and/or one-on-one tutoring assistance in various school subjects.

Commitment:

  • Minimum one school quarter
  • Provide academic assistance to students
  • Provide supervision, guidance and assistance to students as needed

ConAgra Foods Race for the Kids
Mascot: Wear the Road Runner costume at presentations, meetings, visits and other events.
Commitment: Minimum three visits

Mascot Bodyguard: Protect the Road Runner at presentations, meetings, visits and other events.
Commitment: Minimum three visits

vinNebraska Wine Event
Fundraising: Assist with one or more of the activities associated with All Our Kids fundraising activities, e.g., auction solicitor, runner, etc.
Commitment: Varies
