Dontae Allen-Program Specialist I, North Omaha Pilot
Dontae Allen started with All Our Kids as a Program Specialist for the North Omaha Bright Futures Pilot project. He has been with the program for close to a year and has learned a lot in a short time. He has many responsibilities such as coordinating and leading student/mentor meetings, preparing student handouts and presenting timely and appropriate curriculum in addition to many other tasks. Dontae is responsible for 2 student groups which include the following:

• 6th grade at Howard Kennedy Elementary
• 6th grade at Belvedere Academy

Dontae is a graduate of Bellevue University. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and also has an Associate’s degree in general studies from DeAnza Junior College and then studied Mass Communications at Morningside College. Dontae was involved in athletics through out his entire college career, playing football and running track.

Still heavily involved in athletics, Dontae plays indoor football and is a current member of the Iowa Blackhawks. Dontae also enjoys working out, and spending time with his sons, 2 year-old Jamari and brand new baby Damani.
